Public Awareness: I’m a Kid Foundation is a non-profit organization devoted to increasing public awareness in regards to children with hair loss, due to cancer, alopecia, or other ailments. The Foundation provides information and resources to children with hair loss, their families and loved ones. Eliminating the stigma surrounding hair loss is something that IAK strives to improve.  Educational Awareness Program (EAP): I’m a Kid Foundation visits schools and daycare facilities with an interactive presentation on medical hair loss in children in an effort to increase awareness and improve education on these issues. The foundation utilizes Komfy Kids as teaching tools so the children are able to learn about medical hair loss with a “hands on” approach. Care Packages - Send a Care Package today! $100 donation will allow a child suffering from hair loss to receive a Care Package that is filled with many helpful items and… a Komfy Kids therapeutic aid!  The TAD Program (Therapeutic Aids Donation Program) - is an award program where I’m a Kid Foundation donates Komfy Kids™ therapeutic aids to award recipients (individuals and places) that have been selected through an application process. Applicants can apply to receive an award for themselves, another person, or a facility that deals with children with hair loss. For more information and the application, please click here Komfy Kids Purchase Program – Purchase Komfy Kids therapeutic aids directly from I'm a Kid Foundation as a tax-deductible purchase. Komfy Kids have been designed to assist in the psychological well being of children suffering from hair loss. Click here for more info. TAD Retirement Program: If you have a Komfy Kids™ therapeutic aid that you are ready to retire, please mail it to I’m a Kid Foundation. The Foundation will refurbish them and donate them to less fortunate children so that they can smile and have a buddy too! Hospital Visits: I’m a Kid Foundation has teamed up with Komfy Kids and visits hospitals throughout the year offering smiles and encouragement to children everywhere. Komfy Kids are donated to the medical facilities during these visits. Scholarships: We believe that every child should have the opportunity to further their education and we realize that education can be expensive, especially for families that have excessive medical bills. Through generous donations, we are able to make the I’m a Kid Foundation Scholarship available to students with hair loss! If you would like to apply for the I’m a Kid Foundation Scholarship, please read the requirements, and if you qualify, please complete the application and mail it to I’m a Kid Foundation.
